Our
Story
Get to Know Us
As the author of Family Crossfires resources, I began a writing ministry to prevent the tragedies of child abuse and suicide, which I encountered through ministry and personal experience. My writing progressed, fueled both by God, as I studied His Word, and by my desire to help prevent problems "before" they turn tragic. At the same time, to help prevent and heal a growing family breakdown pattern, my pastor husband and I, along with our two daughters, began to present “music and message” programs in congregations. These programs strengthened families in faith that binds families together in love for God and each other. To reach more than families and congregations, God worked miracles, and Family Crossfires, Inc. Ministries was born to reach generations!
Today, this ministry offers six years of life and soul saving resources that work to reunite and strengthen generations in faith, through the wisdom and power of God’s Word, to help handle, prevent, and heal the problems and tragedies sweeping our land, hurting and taking more lives and souls every day. Each year offers flexibility to use these resources as either Intergenerational or Traditional: Preschool/ Sunday School, Adult/Teen Bible Class, Worship, and Vacation Bible School. Each year teaches a pertinent, powerful, and different theme to equip all who attend to handle, prevent, and heal problems and tragedies for generations, by partaking of God’s Word and Sacraments and unceasing prayer. Each year also provides instructions to incorporate SS into Worship and to take learning home for each week.
Family Crossfires resources are a gift that never stops giving. This is, however, true of every powerful resource God provides. To set FCMI resources apart, and increase their power from above, each year is supported and reinforced by monthly Newsletter Articles and Bulletin Inserts. A Daily Prayer Calendar uses God’s Word, Prayer, and a Christian Act to strengthen the mission of each year. On top of all these resources, FCMI offers a three phase church growth "in faith that grows numbers" program. Check out CCIC or “Christian Caring Intensified in Congregations,” on this website. Together, all FCMI resources help to assure that what is "taught "is "caught."
We have not heard of resources as all-encompassing as FCMI resources. We have, however, experienced what God can do with them. In our congregation, the president stood up, and, speaking for the congregation, but to my husband and I, said, “You have changed us.” We often hear similar gratitude from other members. We always reply, "God did it all. We did nothing, except offer these resources." We pray you will explore our website and share the possibility, even need, to offer FCMI resources in your congregation, and be changed by God, too!
