The United Intergenerational Ministry Program

CCIC is a simple concept that has great power

GOD’S POWER!

It is all and only about prayer and

faith to believe prayer works!

CCIC is foundational to UIM in that, while each UIM Resource can be used  successfully all by itself, CCIC gives more of God’s power to other UIM Resources.  Basically, God prepares congregations for UIM through CCIC, as you will see more clearly in the following paragraphs.

CCIC began from a desire to care for members and non-members in a way that would bring them to the house of the Lord. However, it has become an avenue for everything from the practical updating of church records and reaching out to every member through prayer and care, to being a powerful church growth program. Members draw members and non members alike to God’s Church by letting their lights shine so people see their good works and give  glory to their God in heaven (Mathew 5:16).

Church Growth Experts Report:People are drawn to congregations who meet their needs.

And, there are no limits to what God’s Spirit can do when God’s people pray, as those who become involved in CCIC will  see.

As they care for one another through prayer,  God’s Holy Spirit transforms congregations into a caring family and strengthens them to “put on the mind of Christ,” placing the needs of others above their own (Philippians 2:1-8). The  "attitude of Christ" is needed  because successful UIM requires generations  to place the needs of others above their own like Christ, so that the needs of every generation can be met through Christ (Philippians 4:19) in each UIM Resource.

The mission of UIM is to reunite and strengthen generations in saving faith through the wisdom and power of God’s Word to handle, prevent, and heal problems and tragedies, thereby, helping to save both earthly lives and eternal souls. This mission is carried out during the  three phazes of CCIC described below:

CCIC Phase 1 - "IMPLEMENT" is based on Isaiah 56:7 and Matthew 21:13:" ....My house shall be called a house of prayer...."  Each member is given another member to pray for until every member is being cared for through prayed. A monthlyScripture Prayer Calendar is provided, while UIM Worship, Sunday School/Bible Class, Bulletin Inserts and Newsletter Articles grow them in their faith and prayer efforts.  Every member who can pray can be involved, but the prayers of the lay leadership team and pastor who pray for all members assure that every member is prayed for even when some members may not pray. This first phase lays a foundation of prayer and power from our God to carry out the next two phases.

CCIC Phase 2 - "EQUIP" is based on 2 Timothy 3:17: That the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work  AND Jesus said, "Follow Me" passages like Matthew 4:19;Luke 9:23;John 8:12; John 10:27. Generations in the congregation become equipped through continued attendance of UIM or any Worship and Sunday School/Bible Class, using their monthly UIM Scripture Prayer Calendars, and reading UIM handouts that educate about the challenges of and give practical ways to draw people to God’s House in our present times, which are different from past outreach efforts. As it is carried out, this phase grows faith that leads to the good works CCIC Phase 3 is designed to help congregations carry out prayerfully in Jesus’ name and for His sake.

CCIC Phase 3 - "ACT" is based on Galatians 6:10: So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith  AND  Colossians 3:17:And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Members, having been strengthened through prayer in Phase 1 and equipped by God for every good work in Phase 2,  are helped to ACT in ways that draw members and potential members to the Lord and to His Church in Phase 3. A networking of congregational members able to give help can be conneced with those who need help, individual members and teams can reach out to fellow members  and in their community to help build, repair, feed, and do other acts of kindness that when done by faith lead to growth in numbers or church membership.  Phase 3 also includes vision and purpose planning that helps to keep the faith and good work God has begun (Philippians 1:6) growing  stronger in generations for generations, because this the mission of  UIM and all UIM Resources.
