A Brief Summary of "An Amusement Park Adventure." This UIM VBS program is uniquely designed to strengthen generations in faith to handle the up and down roller coaster ride of life. It accomplishes this mission through lively stories, songs, skits, litanies, interaction, and teachable crafts all done in the context of an amusement park atmosphere filled with fun arcade games, simulated and even real (if you desire) rides, and faith-lifting experiences. Life can have some ups and downs just like a roller coaster. Lives and souls are being lost when people do not know where to go for help to handle the downs of life. This VBS demonstrates, in practical ways, where to go for help to cope with the problems and difficulties of life - and that is to Christ. However, everyone will be having so much fun they will hardly notice that they are learning important faith-filled coping skills. That’s what makes this VBS so wonderful! It offers so much fun and so much learning simultaneously and effectively to help save lives and souls through faith in Christ!
After Each Day’s Opening in a large group, small family groups
rotate through FOUR Exciting Stations:
Application Arcade... and,
THE AMAZING MIDWAY!
First, this UIM VBS creates caring family groups. Then, it equips these groups to handle the ups and downs of life by faith, specifically so that they can pass on their faith and copeing skills to present and future generations and help to save both lives and souls. With generations growing less able to cope with problems through faith, the life and soul saving aspect of this VBS make it one of the most valuable and needed VBS Programs available today. Presented as an amusement park adventure, this VBS is also one of the most delightful VBS programs available!

The last or closing day of this VBS is designed to say "thank you" and share VBS with your host congregation. It also provides opportunity for outreach to your community. Time is set aside for practice of songs and a program for families, neighborhood, and/or congregation. Schedule your Closing Program at the end of Closing Day before Party and Snacks, in place of community outreach, in the evening following Closing Day, or the following Sunday.
Suggestions for community outreach: present your Closing Day Program at a nursing home, sing a few songs during visits to shut-ins or at a hospital children’s ward or at a soup kitchen etc.
Additional Closing Day Options: Take a trip to a Park, visit a Maze in your Area, or host a carnival with rides and games. Remind participants that life can be challenging just like rides and games, but that God helps us through every challenge.
